Since the schedule for the initial AvA zones was posted a few days ago, there's been some concerned expressed from Oceanic and other "odd time of day" players about the gap in coverage of AvA zone openings. HiRezStew has posted on the forums to offer an explanation for the current schedule and a look at how things are going to progress from there. The full content of the post is after the jump.
Gaming site The Koalition caught up with Stew Chisam at the Eurogamer Expo 2009 to chat about Global Agenda. They've posted a video interview with Stew as well as a general overview of the game and some screenshots. As with many convention interviews, the sound quality isn't always great (after all, there are thousands of people in the general vicinity), but as well all know by now Stew is good at making himself heard even in the most difficult of interview environments, so you can still make out what he's trying to say.
Check out this video interview with Stew Chisam on GameBreaker, shot at the 2009 Austin Game Developers Conference. There might be some new info for you (or at the very least, more fleshed-out detail) about the game - including some of the first real talk about exactly what kind of persistence you might see for the campaigns.
CGi had representation at QuakeCon, and now they've posted a video from the event. Not only does it include an interview with Stew, but it also shows off the booth and all of the QuakeCon attendees trying out Global Agenda, many for the first time. Check it out! The sound quality could be better, but when all you've got to work with is a lobby area, it could also be worse.
Not to be outdone, Hi-Rez Studios put together their own video of the events from the first day of QuakeCon. Check it out on YouTube here to see Stew and the rest of the team down at the con, as well as various members of the GA community who happened to stop by the booth!
Global Agenda Mission Control has posted the answers they received from Hi-Rez for various questions about Global Agenda submitted by the community in the past few weeks. Check out the answers posted on the GAMC forums.
HexAgenda recently had the opportunity to correspond with Stewart Chisam, Vice President of Game Operations for Hi-Rez Studios. Stew is one of the familiar faces from Hi-Rez on the official Global Agenda forums, and it has been our pleasure to work with him and the rest of the Global Agenda team to bring you more information about the game. We've tried to aim a lot of our questions at topics that don't always come up in the more general interviews you often find on larger, more generic gaming news sites, so we think that the answers will prove interesting, even if you've already read the basic Q&A articles.
Enough rambling, though! Check out Stew's answers on topics ranging from play styles to RNG after the jump.
