Hi-Rez have provided some more detailed information about the upcoming Name Reserve event leading up to Global Agenda's launch. A brief summary is provided first; you can view the entire announcement after the jump.
Name Reserve is Jan. 28th to Jan 31st.
The "Global Agenda (Live)" install will become available by Jan. 28th (likely late 27th).
Characters will be wiped before the event starts.
Players in beta will have the option to keep their existing name if desired, or to change to a new one.
Players who are agency leaders in beta will automatically keep their current agency (but all other members will be removed). Members can be re-invited or the agency can be disbanded to form another.
Starting on Jan. 29th, the servers will be available for limited play up to level 10 only (once a character reaches level 10, no queues will be available until the full release on Feb. 1st).
Effective today, Hi-Rez Studios has announced that the non-disclosure agreement for testers of the game is lifted, so those participating in the beta are free to discuss their experiences and opinions of the game (beta testers, if you want proof, see here). Expect to see a lot more details about the game in the coming weeks.
So the phrase "It's a Great Game(tm)" has been sort of a running joke on the Global Agenda forums - typically uttered by an alpha/beta tester when asked to give an opinion on something that's covered under the NDA. But now, Hi-Rez is taking it a step further and starting a contest (with some pretty neat prizes!) based on the phrase. Take a look at the post on the official forums for more details, such as how to take part and exactly what you could win.
Weren't able to make it in person to the developer chat held last night? No problem! You can still listen to the recording hosted on Podbean. The full recording lasts approximately an hour, and features 5 Hi-Rez staff members answering questions about the game.
