However, the innocent would also be affected which is a no go in my book.

With this short of seasons, I feel like we can ride this one out as is.

First of all I want to thank everyone that gave valuable input to us on this latest AvA iteration. I feel like we addressed a few of the major issues surrounding the AvA ruleset and we are looking forward to seeing how those tweaks play out in the next few seasons.

I did want to address a few issues that we saw during the weekend.

1) The Stockpile Resource BP. This was an oversight by us. We meant to remove this from the game, but instead we only removed the ability to research this item. This gave certain agencies over the weekend a huge advantage over newly participating agencies. This was not intended, however there is not a good way to fix it for the weekend season zones.

We have removed these blueprints from all agencies going forward so that we can eliminate the impact that those specific blueprints will have on the weekday zones.

2) HQ Moving - We are going to add a buildup timer to moving the HQ intra-zone. It will be 1 hour. New HQ placements are not impacted.

3) Tier 2 and Tier 3 facilities. We are looking at reducing the research required to move up through the tiers. We feel that with the new season length the requirements may be too high atm.

4) End of season rewards. Even though we made forward progress in rewarding individuals for playing AvA matches and have unique items being given to the agencies for placing in the season, there is more we want to do. One thing we are contemplating is giving loot to every agent in the winning agencies at each season end. Just wanted to give a heads up that this is an on going concern to make sure we are properly rewarding the participants. (This may even go deeper than the agencies that get special flair, such as a consolation prize to everyone involved...)

5) After all of the zones close this season we will be resetting all resources prior to the next season (i.e. deleting all ava components, bp, and facilities). All finished goods will be carried over from season to season. Our goal here is to make each season a full "net worth" reset and all agencies on an equal playing field.

The current plan is this will happen on the AvA off day (Friday August 27th).
